4 tbsp. coconut oil
6 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. vanilla powder or paste
3 tbsp. cacao powder
10 tbsp. gluten-free fine oat flakes
2 tbsp. chia seeds
For the topping:
100 g. dairy-free chocolate
1 tbsp. coconut oil
coarse sea salt for sprinkling (optional)
Features

These healthy hazelnut bars are the tastiest I've ever tried. Very sweet, crunchy, and full of taste. They are sugar-free and gluten-free. You can substitute hazelnut butter with cashew, almond, or peanut butter but I really like the combination of hazelnut and chocolate. If you want them vegan, choose maple or coconut syrup instead of honey.

Ingredients

Steps

1

Heat hazelnut butter, coconut oil, and honey in a saucepan over low heat for 1-2 minutes. Mix together until well combined. Remove from the heat.

2

Stir in cacao powder, gluten-free fine oat flakes, vanilla powder, and chia seeds. Place in a loaf pan lined with parchment paper.

3

Add chocolate and coconut oil in a saucepan and place over a double boiler on low heat until melted. Drizzle over the bars. Sprinkle with sea salt.

4

Place in the fridge for one hour. Remove from the pan and cut into squares.
